Bill Price of the Daily News had this piece this morning.

Price writes that Sabathia is simply waiting. He is not in a hurry, much to the Yankees chagrin. Sabathia clearly prefers the west coast, but when that is implied, that doesn’t mean he won’t do the east coast.

To sum it up, he says: Until Sabathia signs, nothing really will get done. If Sabathia signs with the Yanks, the Red Sox may have to overpay for Derek Lowe or A.J. Burnett, with one of them possibly falling to the Mets. If Sabathia blows off the Yanks, then the Bombers may get desperate and overpay for Lowe or Burnett themselves.

My only hope? That this whole drama gets over with quickly. I’m tired of waiting.
