For the MLB Network grand opening, the 1956 World Series perfect game with Don Larsen and Yogi Berra was pre-recorded at the MLB studios in Secaucus, NJ. Larsen, who currently resides in Idaho, had to endure several flight delays and cancellations on his way to NY and his way home, even losing contact with his wife and the MLB PR person, Andrew Levy.
When Levy finally got ahold of Larsen 24 hours later, Larsen was nonchalant, cool, but tired and frustrated.
