ESPN has been dedicating a lot of time and effort toward looking into the whole A-Rod steroid fiasco.  Besides identifying A-Rod’s infamous cousin, ESPN has now found out that Primobolan, the steroid Rodriguez referred to as “Boli” was not available over the counter in the Dominican from 2001-2003.

In fact, ESPN interviewed Dr. Pia Veras, who oversees the pharmaceutical regulatory agency in the Dominican.  Veras showed ESPNDeportes proof that the drug was not available legally during 2001-2003.  ESPNDeportes went as far as calling several pharmacies in the DR to ask about Primobolan.  Each pharmacy told them it was not available over the counter or as a prescription.

Primobolan is available on the Internet and through the underground market.
