The Yankees have seemingly done a 180 this spring.  After starting off the spring 2-0 with two dominating wins, the Yanks managed to lose 6 of their next 7 with one tie.  Since then, the Yankees have won 5 of their last 6, and after this weekend, three in a row.

After two wins on Saturday, the Yankees dominated the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, riding 9 hits to a 5-1 win at Steinbrenner Field.  The great news of the day was the first start of Jorge Posada at catcher since last summer.  Posada caught for four innings, and said afterwards he “felt fine.” Posada also shined at the plate, hitting in both of his at bats and scoring two runs.

Andy Pettitte got the start and pitched three solid innings with 2 K’s.  Phil Coke also pitched three innings, allowing the one run that scored and three hits.  He also had 2 K’s.
