This is one of the unfortunate things about being a Yankee fan.  Unless you won an online lottery to gain access to a pre-sale for single-game tickets (which I didn’t), the first opportunity to buy tickets was Tuesday at 10am.  By the time I was able to get on a computer (9pm) they were all sold out.

At least, the reasonably priced tickets were.  I could have spent $2,000+ for “legends” seats.  But c’mon, are you kidding me?  A week and a half’s salary?  You must be joking.

Turns out, 170,000 tickets were sold by midday Tuesday.

Sigh….and I tried so hard to get tickets this year.  Now, I’m stuck on stubhub.
