Former Yankees reliever Kyle Farnsworth was bitten by one of his dogs this week, causing cuts and gashes to his left, non-pitching hand.
You might remember the Farns was with the Yankees until last season when he was sent to the Detroit Tigers in the trade for Pudge Rodriguez. Farnsworth signed with Kansas City in the off season as a free agent.
Farnsworth has to 80+ pound American Bulldogs. The dogs were apparently fighting over attention from his kids. When he tried to seperate the dogs, one accidentally bit him. Fortunately, the injury is to his left hand, not his pitching hand.
